Companion crops help improve the establishment and yield of oilseed rape crops by growing alongside them. There are four main species used in companion cropping, each with their unique benefits to aid OSR establishment in their early development:

- Fenugreek
These species reduce weed burden and protect against flee beetle whilst fixing nitrogen.
